Live From Charlotte..Kinda...

As I write to you this evening, I'm lying in a bed at the Hilton Charlotte Center City. I must say, the accommodations are quite nice. The room is spacious and the bed is very comfortable. The view outside my window is a fabulous one. I'm looking right out to the Charlotte Bobcats stadium!

Rehearsal today was very long, but one thing about working with the dance theater...they get out on time! We were in the middle of a movement when the ending time for rehearsal came around. The director of the dance theater stopped everybody and told them "thank you" and everybody started leaving! It was quite humorous, especially coming from Appalachian where rehearsal ending times are "tentative".

The biggest issue we're facing is working out a time delay with the choir. They're so far away from us, that everything we hear from them is late, and vice versa. Professor Anderson's conducting is being streamed to a monitor for them to watch, but even it has a delay on it. The whole setup is just a mess and will have to be worked with.

I'm anxiously looking forward to tomorrow's rehearsal and performance. I really hope we do well and have a good audience to play for. If you happen to be in the Charlotte area, drop by. Otherwise, just wish you were here..like..a lot!

I Tell You..I'm Done With It!!!!

As you may have noticed, we've had another larger amount of time between posts. Honestly, it's due to the fact of alll the stuff I've got to do. I say I've had enough. I'm done with it!!! Through with it all!!!!

Seriously..I am...

I finished my last paper up this morning. Now all that's left for me to do is enjoy a week in Charlotte performing Carmina Burana, and then a fabulous jazz concert on Saturday night.

An extreme burden has been lifted off of my shoulders and I love it! The weight is just slowly disappearing. The old me is coming back, slowly but surely. That always happy, friendly, nice..me.

If any of you are in the Boone area Saturday night...check out the jazz concert, it's gonna be hot!!!!!

I believe that's all I have for the moment, looks like this rollercoaster of a life is turning out to be a good ride for now....

May God Keep you This and Every Night.
