Another Year, Another Valentine

Wow, the years are starting to fly by. It's hard to believe that Valentine's Day has already come around once again. I thought I could at least take time out of my busy schedule to put a post on this, special, of days.

When people think of Valentine's Day, most think of a love fest. A day where everyone has decided to tell everyone else they know, "Happy Valentine's Day, I love you". Granted, the "Happy Valentine's Day" is useful. However, the second phrase, I think has a much more important meaning...to great to cram into one day.

Why is it, that we tell those we're close to "I love you" on Valentine's Day, and forget to a lot of the other times? Are we too busy? We should never be too busy to tell someone we care. Do we forget? If we forget to tell them we love them, then maybe we don't love them that much.

For whatever the reason, there is just an imbalance between telling people you love them on Valentine's Day, versus telling them on other days. Now..I'm not saying decrease the number of times you tell them on Valentine's Day. Rather, pick up the pace and tell them more often throughout the other 364 days of the year.

Just imagine how great a place this world would be, if we took that loving spirit of Valentine's Day, and held it, and shared it, all the year long.....

May God keep you this and every night.

of faith, water of sincerity and air of passion
. "
