The New World Traveler

Ok...so first things first...obviously you've noticed I've been quiet awhile. Well that's simple. I've been away. Not just any old away. Away..to London, England!!!!

That's right, on December 28th, I traveled with the App State Marching Band to London, England. Our mission: to march in the New Year's Day parade. Oh it was absolutely wonderful! I had such an amazing time and cannot wait to go back.

There are so many highlights, I just can't possibly name them all. I'd say some of the best moments were just hanging out with my friends. Oh yes, and going to the Phantom of the Opera!!!!!!

Yes, you heard me correct. I, the Phantom of Appalachian State, went to see the London production of Phantom of the Opera. I had wonderful seats and the show is absolutely amazing. Everybody should see it at least once before they die.

Now I've returned to Boone to audition on Horn and Jazz piano. I am feeling amazingly good and particurlarly.."Phantomish". Here's to a great new semester and to the Phantom of Appalachian...(that's me)!!!
