Let Me Off The Ride, I'm Getting Sick

My goodness, another 4 day period of silence. There's a whole lot going on here at this time of the year. I've been assigned multiple papers, had to do multiple projects, and ontop of it all I have to find a place to live.

The housing lottery here at the University is one of the most intense and stressful processes I go through. Fortunately, last year, everything seemed to fall into place fairly easily and I ended up with this great room. However, this year, that was not the case.

For starters, in this dorm there are a very limited amount of spots for juniors. Typically, none. However, they had a surprise in store for me. When I arrived to participate in the lottery, they wouldn't even let me draw a number. Instead I found out that I already ended up with a room! The question was, would it be a double or private room. Then the working, bartering, and negotiating began.

ultimately, I ended up in a private room! I am very lucky and grateful and thank God for answering a lot of prayers. So, it looks like next year I'll be reporting, once again, from the Living Learning Center.

It's been a roller coaster of emotions all this week, I would like it to level out for a while. Because quite frankly, on this rollercoaster, I'm starting to feel sick!

But for now, it's time to celebrate and tackle the rest of the week. So hang on, make sure your lap bar is secure, and keep your hands and arms inside the vehicle at all times. Because here..we..go!!!!!

May God keep you this and every night.
