What Doesn't Hurt, Doesn't Work
Today, was a very long day. Not only did we have a football game to perform at, but it was Open House this morning. This meant getting up even earlier so we could impress potential freshman. Of course, we did this quite well. Supposedly, we brought tears to the chancellor's eyes.
Now, if I had any idea what was good for me, I would pace myself throughout the day. I just get too darn excited I suppose. I go full throttle all day long and after all is said and done. I collapse and collapse hard.
As I sit here, I can barely remember who I am. Every part on my body hurts and/or tingles. I would venture to say, what doesn't hurt, probably doesn't work. Of course, I'm a glutton for punisment. Tomorrow morning, I'll get up and do it all over again.
Why? Why not? I only get one go at this, wasting it would be a crime against the universe...
May God Keep You (and all your hurting parts) this and every night.
