The Follies of Learning

Oh goodness, it's been quite awhile hasn't it? I'm terribly sorry, but I've been going on and on with different breaks and trips. I just recently got back from Washington DC, where I had a wonderful time observing schools and sightseeing.

This came, of course, after a week off for Spring Break. I'm am quite ready to get back into the swing of things.

Tonight I have a smile in my heart from going to a concert. That's right..a concert. Tonight, the School of Music Faculty held a treat for all of us in the form of "Faculty Follies." So many of our beloved faculty put their pride aside and made fools of themselves for our amusement. I so much enjoyed it, and laughed until I cried. It was amazing to see that even when doing things in a lighthearted manner, you can still have a good musical performance. I've wanted to see some of these professors lighten up from the very beginning, and now I've had my chance. I can't wait until the next one!

That's really all I have for this evening. I hope all of you have found something to smile about today. A smile is a terrible thing to waste....

May God Keep you This and Every Night!

A friendly look, a kindly smile, one good act, and life's worthwhile. ~Author Unknown
