Puzzle Pieces

Over the course of the past few days, I have been working on my schedule for next semester. For a music major like myself, it's like jigsaw puzzle. Complex tiny pieces must fit together perfectly in order to create just the right number and type of classes. It was while I was working on this tedious, time-consuming, and stressful task that I had a realization.

Life is like a jigsaw puzzle, and people are the pieces.

You laugh...but it's true. We each form a piece of the puzzle, just a diverse and complicated as the pieces of an actual jigsaw puzzle. Another important aspect, is that no two pieces are exactly alike...and that they only fit in one certain spot.

The same is true for humans. None of us are exactly alike, and we all have one place we truly "fit." Just as two jigsaw pieces join together, two humans join together. In doing so, they form a larger part of the whole picture. There is someone out there that is your exact mate, that completes the other half of your little part of the Global Picture.

Another interesting thing is that it is only by all of us coming together..that we can see the entire picture....

May God Keep you This and Every Night.

"I gave up trying to force more and more pieces of my life together the way I thought they should be. I finally realized that it's God who's holding the lid to the box....."~Jeffrey Lazenby
