A Good Rainy Wednesday
Today was certainly an interesting day. It was rainy on the outside, but I felt like sunshine on the inside.
Aural Skills was actually decent. Trumpet methods met for only about 20 minutes. Psychology was interesting as usual (as love and emotion usually are). English was a breeze, and in global we just watched a video.
I've been noticing a change in the behavior of the females around me though. I can't quite figure it out yet, and I don't know that I will be able to. Maybe it has something to do with my newfound good-fortune.
I found out I'm going to be a student leader for the Teaching Fellows Discovery Trip this summer. That should be very exciting. I'm actually looking forward to the trip actually. Then I had an executive council meeting where I got to exercise my power as an LLC Committee Chair.
After the meeting I had a lovely dinner with a group of females. I have been dubbed their "after-exec" boy. How charming....
Then to top the evening off, I spent a wonderful time with the prettiest girl up here at Appalachian at the Brass Ensemble concert tonight. Then after getting back, I got to talk to my favorite East Carolina girl. I'm glad to find out that she's getting better from her wreck. I don't know what I'd do without either one of them!
Well. That's all I have for this evening. I guess it's time to turn in for the evening and catch up on some badly needed beauty rest. No seriously, I'm looking quite awful these days.....
May God keep you this and every night!
"The setting sun, and music at the close, As the last taste of sweets, is sweetest last, Writ in remembrance more than things long past."
