A New Spring In Your Step
Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Spring!!!
Today was officially the first day of Spring. Boone was beautiful today. The trees are starting to turn green again, the flowers are starting to come out, the sun was shining, and the weather and girls were beautiful!
Of course, I just had to take in the beauty of it all. I drove around some today with some friends just enjoying the weather and collecting canned food for the local hunger Coalition. I really enjoyed seeing people my own age giving their own food up to feed other people.
I have some exciting news....I think I'm going to get my own radio show! That's right, next year I could be a radio host for ASU's own radio station! I'm still thinking over it, but it seems really cool....
Another thing that has happened to me is my back. It hurts, and I don't know why. I've tried everything: medicine, heat, rest, streching. Nothing seems to help. I hope it gets fixed soon. I probably just need a good back rub...but there's nobody up here to give me one....
If you want to see me perform, I will be playing this coming Thursday at 8 PM in Rosen Concert Hall. If you can't make it to that one, I'll be giving a repeat performance the next Wednesday at 8 PM. I'll be telling you more about these later.
Well, that's all I have for tonight. My non-existent love life has calmed down, I seem to be just helping others with theirs. I've been patient for 19 years, I guess I can hold on a little longer....
May God keep you (and of course me) this and every night.
"For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape, give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away"
Song of Solomon (ch. II, v. 11-12)
