The Music Of The Night
The world is changing right before our eyes. What we are living today will be in the history books in the future.
The world has lost a great man in Pope John Paul II. I'm not Catholic, but yet I am still saddened by the loss. The Pope was a brave man who knew what he stood for and did not waiver from it. He fought against abortion, communisim, and promoted peace and love. I am glad that he is now at peace, sitting with the one he served for so long.
I've been sitting here in the dark, listening to music, trying to relax and meditate. Starting out, my mind was racing. Now, however, it has calmed down. With all the major deaths lately, it really makes one think about life. I still never want to take it for granted. I still want to tell others that I care. So...
If I haven't told you I care today, consider this your notification. If you didn't get an "I love you" or "I'm glad I have you", this is it. Consider this your hug and kiss goodnight. You all may rest easy because your Angel is watching over you. Now let the Music of the Night envelop you and take you to where all your dreams come true.
As always, may God keep you (and me) this and every night.
"Softly, Deftly, Music shall caress you. Hear it, Feel it, Secretly posses you. Open up your mind, let your fantasies unwind, In this darkness that you know you cannot fight, The darkness of the music of the night.
Floating, falling Sweet intoxication, Touch me, trust me Savor each sensation. Let the dream begin, Let your darker side give in To the power of the music that I write, The power of the music of the night!
You alone can make my song take flight, Help me make the music of the night..."

Nighttime sharpens,
Heightens each sensation.
Darkness, stirs and wakes imagination.
Silently the senses abandon their defenses.
Slowly, gently
Night unfurls its splendor.
Grasp it, sense it,
Tremulous and tender.
Turn your face away, from the careless light of day!
Turn your thoughts away from cold, unfeeling nights.
And listen to the music of the night.
Close your eyes and surrender to your darkest dream!
Leave the thoughts of life you knew before!
close your eyes and let your spirit start to soar...
and you'll live, as you've never lived before...
