A Wonderful Christmas, and a New Year's Date In London

Christmas was wonderful!! I've found if you don't ask for anything, whatever you get is more than you asked for. If anyone is intrested, I got some new clothes, and a very expensive music writing program for my computer. Alas, there was no girl with a bow on her head in my living room. Oh well, one can't get everything they ask for...

The Christmas play I wrote for the church went great. I had them laughing so much they were crying! The next project is a performance at another church on Jan. 23. I hope we can pull it togeather in time.

New Years was great too. I kept my tradition of spending the night with the guys at Taylor's house and staying up until the wee hours of the morning just playing cards and catching up. However, next year, I may have a date.

Don't get excited, it's not a date with a girl (I wish). It's a date with destiny. If destiny's name is London, England! You read me right, App State's marching band may be going to London next year to perform in a New Year's Day parade. It's going to be great!!

Well, enough for now....I'm getting tired. Oh, I better give you some sort of uplifting something for the day...here it is....

Love is not automatic. It takes conscious practice and awareness, just like playing the piano. However, you have ample opportunities to practice. Everyone you meet can be your practice session.

I wrote that myself.... Night!
