Silent Snow

As I sit here writing this, I have a great view out my window. It's about midnight in Boone, and a gentle snow is falling. The world outside is calm and silent. Nature itself is hushed, admiring the beauty of the falling snow.

As I see the snowflakes, I too am amazed. One of the things that I love the most, is that no two snowflakes are the same. Every one is different, yet when looked at from a distance, they all look the same.

The same concept applies to humanity. We are all unique individuals, each one serving their own unique purpose in the universe. However, when God looks at us, we all look the same. He loves us each the same, and wants us all to come to the full knowledge of Christ.

I go to sleep tonight watching the snow, and praying for my life to be as the snowflake. Beautiful, graceful, and loved by all.

"Oh! the snow, the beautiful snow, Filling the sky and earth below, Over the housetops, over the street, Over the heads of the people you meet. Dancing, Flirting, Skimming along."
-J.W. Watson

May God keep you this and every night.
