Fill in the Blank

As Christmas approches, ok it's tomorrow, we can't forget what it is really about. One little exercise I thought of was fill in the blank.

Take the word, Christmas. Now remove the first part of the word. You're left with...

______mas.

The question now becomes, what word do you fill in the blank with. Some of the favorites are,

Presentmas
Moneymas
Partymas
Snowmas
Foodmas

Now granted those words sound silly, but have we gotten to the point where that's actually what we are celebrating?

Therefore, I believe there are two options.

1. Change the word Christmas to something more appropriate for the majoity of society.
2. Ensure that we are putting Christ in Christmas.

Personally, I like the second option better....but it's your decision.

Merry CHRISTmas everbody!!!

"Here the tragically beautiful
And the beautifully tragic
Drift through this night
In a last quest for magic"
