Lesson Two

I must say, today was pretty decent. Especially for one that opened with a theory quiz. I think I did well on the quiz, I guess we'll just have to see how well. After that I got to play the bassoon..which is kinda hard, but yet interesting and fun. Now, after that was marching band, which I just have a blast at anyway.

Lunch was good, then a nice relaxation period. I didn't have to go into my evening class until 6:30...sweet! Now I'm sitting here eating burnt popcorn because I can't figure out the settings on my microwave.

So..hmm..life lessons....well, I found this quote today that I really liked.

"A minute of thought is worth more than an hour of talk"

I find that quite often we're in such a hurry we let our mouths out run our brains. If we all stopped to take time to think, especially before we spoke, things could be a lot better.

PM's: Good work on yesterday's. Respond to the above quote. If you can remember a time when thinking before talking is good, let me know about it. Be thinking of a time when we all can get together one evening....keep up the good work!
