Introduction and Lesson One

In a desperate effort to get back to writing in this thing nightly, I am starting a week long series of life lessons. Tonight begins lesson one.

Over on my wall is a poster entitled "God's Little Instructions". After dealing with some Teaching Fellows things tonight, I believe an important lesson can be found in two quotes with accompanying Bible verses:

People may doubt what you say, but they will always believe what you do.

What a big difference there is between giving advice and lending a hand.

An important thing in this life is sacrifice and giving to others. If we all had that kind of spirit, just think how great a world this could be. So, I don't know about you, but I'm going to try and do something for somebody else tomorrow.

PM's: EMAIL your response to me at jl649595@appstate.edu on the two quotes in relation to what you've been doing. Also, if you have done or do something for someone else, let me know about it!
