I'll Get Back to You When the World Stops Spinning
My goodness...what a week.
The first part of the week was just fine. Everything went normal, and I was in good health. When Thursday came around, I had a wonderful time teaching my flute/piano student, and an even better time at a dinner with the Dean of the College of Education. However...
Sometime between Thursday night, and Friday morning..all hell broke loose and fell on my head, and it felt like it too. When my alarm went off Friday morning, I sat up..and felt extremely dizzy. I layed back down a moment then tried again, then I tried to stand up..bad idea. I took two steps then about fell down. Q#%!#@%!@% I had vertigo or something. Here.. in case you missed it...
#$^#%&@!#$%#@%% I had veritgo or something!! I couldn't sit or stand up. I missed all my classes, missing both a lesson and a test. It takes a lot to get me frustrated, and even more to make me cry..but I'm not ashamed to admit, that Friday..I was so frustrated I cried. Of course, you would be too if all you could do is lay down, and when you get sick and have to puke, you can't walk to the bathroom, so you get sick in an empty pepsi 12 pack can box. You know, the long narrow ones that fit in your fridge...
But!!! There is hope!! By the end of Friday, I could sit up for a short amount of time, and I wasn't nauseated anymore. The next day, the day of the Furman game, I was a little better. I could stand and walk, and most importantly..conduct. By the end of the day Saturday, I was completely better. I have no idea what in the heck was wrong, just that for one day, I felt completely helpless and miserable. Thank God for helping and healing me and for all those praying for me.
Now, I've gotten back with you becuase the World has stopped spinning. Tomorrow..I think I'll tell you about the Furman game and the trip home...hehe..another great adventure of my life. One thing's for sure..around me..Life can't be boring!
And of course..a line that I've found people like..and of course I love to end with....
May God keep you this and every night, as he has me...
